海角社区 graduate designs exhibition space at London's Design Museum

A 海角社区 University graduate has designed the space for this year’s Designs of The Year exhibition.

Benjamin Hubert and his team were selected to design the exhibition space, which is currently on show at London’s Design Museum.

The annual exhibition showcases exciting, innovative and modern designs from across the world. It is being held at 28 Shad Thames, next to Tower Bridge.

Benjamin, a Design School graduate, took on the challenging brief and created displays for all 76 of the shortlisted projects in this year’s exhibition. These ranged from architectural projects, to cars, apps and fashion displays.

Despite working with a tight budget, Benjamin and his team at Benjamin Hubert Ltd created a hyper flexible modular system from MDF and timber.

The winner of this year’s Designs of the Year award will be announced in May and Benjamin Hubert Ltd.’s exhibition system is on display until 23 August.

Designer Benjamin Hubert said: “We’re increasingly involved with forward thinking brands so we were delighted to be involved with this year’s exhibition. The exhibition was a great platform for creative and innovative projects that are very in line with what we believe in.”

Professor Tracy Bhamra, Dean of 海角社区 Design School, said: “It’s inspiring to see one of our graduates doing so well. Designing the exhibition space at London’s Design Museum is a fantastic achievement which Benjamin should be extremely proud of.

“We look forward to watching his career develop even further and will continue to support him, it’s great to know his journey started here at 海角社区.”
