Replying to your offer
Great news – you’ve received an offer from º£½ÇÉçÇø University! Here is all of the information you need of what to do next.
Different types of offers
Conditional |
A conditional offer means you still need to meet some entry requirements, this is usually exam results. |
Unconditional |
An offer of a place on a course with no outstanding conditions. |
What options do you have?
You will need to decide on which university you would like to attend and which course you would like to study. To do this, you need to . There are several choices you will need to make when doing this. You will need to select one of your offers to be your firm choice and one to be your insurance (if you choose to have one). You can only accept one firm choice and one insurance offer. You must decline any other offers. Here is what this means:
Firm |
This is your first choice university and course. |
Insurance |
This is your second choice university and course. |
Decline |
Once you have selected your firm and insurance universities and courses, you will be required to decline any other outstanding offers you have received for other universities and courses. |
Defer |
If you would like to defer entry and start your course in September 2025, we will need you to complete our Withdrawal or Deferral . Please note that amendments can take up to 48 hours to update on your UCAS Hub. Similarly, if you are holding a deferred offer and now wish to join the University in 2024, you will need to request this in writing to the admissions team. |
Remember, you'll only attend your insurance choice course if you don't meet the conditions of your firm choice, but you do meet the conditions of your insurance. You can't choose between your firm and insurance when you get your results, so make sure you're happy with which is your firm, and which is your insurance before you reply.
How to make your decision
Once you have decided which course you would like to study, head over to the UCAS Hub where you can make your decision. Please ensure you meet the following deadlines for your reply, otherwise, you will receive an automatic decline of your offers by UCAS.
UCAS reply deadlines
If you receive your last decision on or before 16 May 2024, your reply date is 6 June 2024 (except if you're using UCAS Extra to find a place).
If you receive your last decision on or before 17 July 2024, your reply date is 24 July 2024 (including UCAS Extra choices).
