Description of the works
The Bridgman Building/Student Services car park is to be cordoned off by Security at 5.00 p.m. on Friday 7 February 2025.
Chapter 8 Barriers will be set out around the perimeter of the car park to form a safe working zone.
This is to make clear access to the car park available for crane lifting of external AC equipment being installed to the roof on Saturday 8 February 2025.
There will be no route through via the car park to University Road from the rear of the Bridgeman Building (behind Student Services) on Saturday, while the crane lift takes place, pedestrians are to use alternative footpath routes through the Walled Garden to access Margaret Keay Road, linking to University Road.
The works will be carried out by our mechanical Contractor, William Freer.
Timescale
The works will take place on Friday 7 February - Sunday 9 February 2025.
